The Howell Group, LLC was started in 2006, providing safety and health training and consulting services. Jeff Howell is the principal owner and president.

Jeff has over thirty years of loss control experience in the insurance, consulting and construction industries.  He worked as a construction consultant in risk control for both St. Paul / Travelers Insurance group and St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company for over 16 years.

He served in the role of Director of Safety and Personnel for mid-size building contractor in Dallas Texas for a number of years after being promoted from site supervision for the same organization.  Jeff started his career in the operation of his own construction and design firm in the Northern PA and Ohio areas for nearly ten years.  Jeff has a BS from Edinboro University.  He is an authorized trainer and serves as a Master Trainer with the Mid-Atlantic OSHA Outreach Training Institute Education Center.  He is also a Rigging and Signaling instructor holding NCCCO Rigger and Signaler certifications. Jeff is active with and currently holds the OSHA Training consultant  position with the Mid-Atlantic Construction Safety Council.
